District wants to build, remodel or expand 13 campuses, and upgrade technology

From The Seattle Times: The Seattle School Board has placed a $695 million construction proposal on the February ballot. The money would enable the district to build, remodel or expand 13 schools to ease crowding and update aging buildings. Some of the funds would be spent to improve technology, provide wireless for every school, update middle-school science labs, and improve earthquake protection at 37 buildings. Voters also will be asked to approve a second ballot measure, a $552 million, three-year operations levy.
