Schools failed to meet deadlines for compliance

News release: Fifteen higher-education institutions have been removed from the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) for failing to comply with reporting guidelines of the commitment. Second Nature, a non-profit organization that helps facilitate participation and compliance with the Climate Commitment, says the 15 institutions did not meet three initial reporting requirements: an implementation profile; a greenhouse gas emissions inventory; and a climate action plan. The current number of ACUPCC institutions now is 673.
