Governor signs campus-carry law

Idaho Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter signed the campus carry bill into law, making it legal as of July 1 for students, staff and visitors to carry concealed weapons on college and university campuses in Idaho.  Idaho’s eight college presidents had opposed the bill, but it passed by a large margin in both the house and senate, according to Idaho Legislative Services office.
