Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, has renovated 20,000 square feet of staid cafeteria space.

Light fixtures, ceramic tiles and unified colors define choices and facilitate flow. Indoor seating includes booths, rectangular and freeform tables, high-back and standard chairs, and counter seating.

The outdoor dining area features epoxy-textured flooring, vinyl-coated seating, suspended stainless-steel lighting and oscillating fans.

The architect is Gallo Architects & Development Consultants, Inc. (Deerfield Beach, Fla.). JWR Construction Services (Deerfield Beach, Fla.) is the contractor.
