Emerson College LA wins Q Award

The Boston-based school will win the award for its $85 million, 107,000 square foot, 10-story Los Angeles campus building, which it completed in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Emerson College of Los Angeles will be awarded the Q Award from the Alliance for Quality Construction. The Boston-based school will win the award for its $85 million, 107,000 square foot, 10-story Los Angeles campus building, which it completed in the fourth quarter of 2013.

The LEED Gold Certified building was designed by Thom Mayne of Morphosis Architects and built by Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company.

AQC’s Q Award is given annually for outstanding contributions toward the attainment of quality construction within the building industry of Southern California.
