Video: Michigan district is closing its only high school

To combat its budget deficit, the Albion district will become a K-8 school system.

Video from WOOD-TV: The Albion (Mich.) school board has decided to close its only high school and will offer classes only for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Unless it took action, the district would have faced a $1 million deficit next year. High school students are likely to attend in the Marshall district, but no official decision has been made.
