The Park Avenue Christian Church Day School is selling its school building and moving to the Upper West Side of Manhattan

About 30 families have withdrawn their children Park Avenue Christian Church Day School, an exclusive prekindergarten on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City, after learning that the church planned to sell the school’s building to a developer and that the school was moving to the Upper West Side. The New York Times reports that parents have objected to the abrupt move and say the new location is farther away from most of the students’ homes and smaller than the current building.
