Superintendent accused of harassing district employees quits

Resignation by San Juan (Calif.) Unified School Superintendent Glynn Thompson comes after probe of allegations that he created a hostile work environment.

San Juan (Calif.) Unified School District Superintendent Glynn Thompson has submitted his resignation rather than be fired, the school board has announced. The Sacramento Bee reports that the board voted 4-0 to accept Thompson’s resignation after reviewing a lengthy investigation into claims that he created a hostile work environment and bullied and retaliated against some employees when they complained.
