Student suicides force New York high school to confront ethnic divisions

Three students, all Hispanic, who attended East Hampton High School have taken their own lives in the last 3 years.

The New York Times reports that the deaths of the students, all of whom were Hispanic, brought to the surface a division between the area's economically comfortable residents and newer, poorer Hispanic residents, whose numbers have been rising rapidly.
