System of 2,161 solar panels will offset energy costs in the Camp Verde Unified District

The Camp Verde (Ariz.) Unified School District has installed a solar power system on its campuses. The 609 kW DC installation will produce 1,039.46 megawatt hours annually, according to a news release. The 2,161 solar panels have been mounted on several carports, providing shade for the parking areas throughout the campuses. Enfinity America Corporation provided owns and operates the solar installations under a 15-year solar service agreement.
