Aquinas College in Grand Rapids breaks ground on $6.3 million project

Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich., is breaking ground on a $6.3 million sports and recreation building. Mlive.com reports that the Alksnis Athletics and Recreation Building will be named for Greg Alksnis, an alumnus who donated $1.5 million for the facility. The building will house a 200-meter track and provide indoor practice space for baseball, softball, soccer and lacrosse.
