Penn State OKs $60 million settlement for some Sandusky victims

Former assistant football coach is imprisoned after being found guilty of molesting boys.

Pennsylvania State University has approved spending up to $60 million for settlements with men who have accused Jerry Sandusky of abusing them. The Centre Daily Times reports that Ted Brown, who’s been on the board for a little more than two weeks, confirmed the settlement amount after other media reports cited anonymous sources about the deal. The number of victims who are covered in the settlement was not disclosed. Sandusky, former assistant football coach, is in prison after being convicted of molesting boys.
