Obama says law school should be 2 years, not 3

Aug. 26, 2013
Instead of a 3rd year of classes, law school students should gain work experience in their final 2 semesters.

President Obama is urging law schools to consider cutting their programs to two years instead of three. The New York Times says the president, a graduate of Harvard Law School and a former instructor at the University of Chicago Law School, questioned the utility of a third year of classes and suggested that students use their final two semesters to gain work experience.
