High school is being rebuilt in Silver Spring, Md.

The Montgomery County (Md.) district has broken ground on a $128 million project to rebuild Wheaton High School in Silver Spring and recreate the campus as a model of project-based learning. The Washington Post says construction is expected to be complete by August 2015. The 1,340 students who attend the school, built in 1954, will stay in the existing building as the new facility is built nearby. The capacity of the school would increase by 250 students.
