Gun mishap wounds school employee during district-sponsored concealed weapon class

Van (Texas) Independent School District employee was recovering from a bullet wound in his left legafter being accidentally shot during a district-sponsored concealed handgun license class. The Tyler Telegraph says the class was part of an effort to permit teachers to carry firearms on district campuses.

UPDATE from KLTV.com: the Van school district employee injured in an accidental shooting has been released from the hospital. Multiple sources have identified the employee as Glenn Geddie, who works in the maintenance department for the Van district.
