Foundation pledges $50 million to University of Texas at Austin

Donation will benefit the university's communications college

The Moody Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on education, social services and community development, has pledged $50 million to support the communication college at the University of Texas at Austin. The Dallas Morning News says the money will be used for curricular development, research, recruiting graduate students, and building and refurbishing classroom space and lecture halls.
