A man was killed when a school bus driver apparently ran a red light and collided with two SUVs near Wadsworth, Ill. The Chicago Tribune reports that some of the dozens of elementary students on board sustained injuries, but they were considered minor. The accident occurred at an intersection in Newport Township as the bus was taking children to the Newport Elementary School in Wadsworth. The bus "may have been late on the light," police say, and struck a Jeep Wrangler. The Wrangler driver was killed. A Jeep Cherokee at the intersection was also struck. The bus was knocked on its side and the windows were shattered.
