$60 million grant from National Security Agency will pay for the facility

North Carolina State University in Raleigh has received a $60.75 million grant from the National Security Agency to create a laboratory for the study of data analysis. The Raleigh News & Observer says the Laboratory for Analytic Sciences will be housed in a campus building that will be renovated, but details about the facility are top secret. Those who work in the lab will be required to have security clearance from the U.S. government.
