Dartmouth and University of California expand sexual assault policies

Both schools will expand their guidelines to include sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and harassment.

Both the University of California and Dartmouth College have announced new guidelines for their policies on sexual assault. Both schools will expand their guidelines to include sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and harassment, all of which are mandates under the federal Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act (2013). The act requires all universities that receive federal funding and financial aid to comply with the new guidelines.
