Suit against Carver (Mass.) schools says 13-year-old boy has been harassed because he is Jewish

A couple contends in a lawsuit that the Carver (Mass.) school district has failed to take steps to prevent their 13-year-old son from being bullied and harassed. The Quincy Patriot Ledger reports that Robert Groezinger and her wife, Jennyfer Sordillo say that their son has been targeted for harassment by other boys at Carver Middle-High School because he is Jewish. The couple alleges that since 2011, when the boy began attending the school, he has endured derogatory slurs, Nazi salutes and physical abuse from a group of boys at school. Police say two 13-year-old boys have been charged with criminal harassment, assault and battery, and civil rights violations after an incident in May.
