Colorado Supreme Court says state's school financing system is constitutional

The Colorado Supreme Court, overturning a lower court’s decision, has ruled that the state's school finance system is constitutional. The Denver Post says that the reversal is a defeat for education advocates who for eight years have sought greater and more equitable funding for public schools. Plaintiffs had argued that Colorado doesn't provide a constitutionally mandated "thorough and uniform" system of public education.
