Barbara Byrd-Bennett hints of plan for new student learning initiative

Urging the city to move forward after the painful closing of 50 elementary schools, Chicago Public Schools CEO Barbara Byrd-Bennett has announced a five-year plan to improve student learning called “Next Generation Chicago’s Children.” But, The Chicago Sun-Times reports, Byrd-Bennett released few specifics about the plan.
