California district decides to reopen 2 campuses

Cotati-Rohnert Park board says campuses that housed Mountain Shadows Middle and La Fiesta Elementary will reopen.

The Cotati-Rohnert Park (Calif.) School Board has voted to reopen two campuses that have been closed for a few years. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat says the former Mountain Shadows Middle School will open in the fall under the name Technology Middle School. The former La Fiesta Elementary School campus will be reborn as University Elementary School at La Fiesta. It will begin with students in kindergarten through second grade. La Fiesta was closed in 2008, and Mountain Shadows Middle School was closed in 2010.
