A suspect is in custody in the shooting at Berrendo Middle School in Roswell

Two students have been seriously wounded after a shooter opened fire at a middle school in Roswell, N.M. The Albuquerque Journal reports that a male student opened fire at Berrendo Middle School as classes were starting for the day. A 14-year-old boy was in critical condition and a 13-year-old girl was in serious condition and were being treated a hospital in Lubbock, Texas, authorities say. A suspect was in custody. Police say that the shooter walked into the school gymnasium with a shotgun.
