$129 million high school renovation plan approved in Winchester, Mass.

Town members in Winchester, Mass., have approved a $129 million project to overhaul Winchester High School. The Winchester Star reports that before the renovation can move forward, town voters must approve a debt exclusion that will be on the ballot Dec. 10. The high school is 40 years old and has reached the end of its useful life in many areas, including its roof and windows, school leaders say.
